Tournament Reviews

Besides single annotated games we provide on Chessfriend.com also complete chess tournaments where the games of the best players are annotated. The idea is to show how top players are playing their tournaments and what the average player can learn from them.

Typically we will annotate all games of the first three up to six players, depending on the total number of players. The tournaments include classic tournaments starting around 1870 and of course also the latest tournaments of our decade. Besides the annotated games we provide information about ELO performances, error statistics, opening statistics, endgame statistics and links to the organizer website when available.
